Learning Without Limits: MSMEs Go Digital with FIRST+II
Learning Without Limits: MSMEs Go Digital with FIRST+II

Across Ghana, thousands of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) face a common barrier: a lack of access to quality business training that is flexible, practical, and tailored to their specific realities. Poor connectivity, long distances, and time constraints often prevent them from accessing traditional learning opportunities.

Through the FIRST+II program, the African Management Institute (AMI) is rewriting that story. Nearly 500 MSMEs have already used AMI’s blended learning platform, and over 300 entrepreneurs have logged in and begun their journeys.

What sets this apart is accessibility. Recognizing that many entrepreneurs work in areas with limited connectivity, AMI’s platform allows users to download tools and resources offline. In fact, 74% of users took advantage of this feature, proving that training can meet people where they are, even in underserved regions.

For the young women and men leading these MSMEs, digital learning isn’t just a convenience; it is the bridge to investment readiness, business growth, and sustainable jobs. By removing barriers, AMI enables entrepreneurs to learn without limits and dream beyond them.
