Paul Issifu is a CIMA-qualified management accountant and results-driven finance professional with robust experience in international development, financial management, and social investment. He currently serves as the Finance and Accounting Manager at CapitalPlus Exchange (CapPlus) on the FIRST+II project, where he ensures effective financial oversight, compliance, and accountability for the program’s initiatives.

Paul has successfully contributed to managing programs funded by leading global donors, including USAID, UKAID-DHSC, Global Affairs Canada (GAC), and the Mastercard Foundation. Previously, Paul was pivotal as Regional Finance Officer for West Africa at Mott MacDonald on the Fleming Fund, a £235 million program. His efforts contributed to advancing global health systems in 25 low- and middle-income countries, with a focus on combating antimicrobial resistance.

Beyond his professional roles, Paul contributes to social impact initiatives as Finance and Operations Lead at InspireHer Ghana and mentors entrepreneurs through Mercy Corps’ MicroMentor program. He is also an alumnus of the AFC Climate Challenge Leadership Fellowship, demonstrating his commitment to addressing global challenges, such as climate change. He contributes to thought leadership as a Research Associate at AREF Consult.
