Ekua Biney is a development professional with expertise in procurement, grant management, and program operations. As the Program Contracts and Procurement Manager at CapitalPlus Exchange, she oversees contract administration, vendor engagement, and procurement compliance under the Mastercard Foundation-funded FIRST+II program, which supports inclusive job creation for youth and women in Ghana.

Before joining CapPlus, Ekua served as Administrative Officer for the Mastercard Foundation Africa Growth Fund, managing procurement, logistics, office administration,  and large-scale events across Africa and as a Bilingual Project Officer with WACSI seconded to IREX to work on the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders where she managed professional development engagements regional grants and stakeholder partnerships across Francophone and Anglophone West and Central Africa.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in French from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and a Diploma of French Studies (DUEF) from Université de Caen, France. Ekua also holds a DALF C1 certification, demonstrating advanced proficiency in the French language. Ekua is passionate about social impact and seeks to further contribute to grant-focused roles that strengthen sustainable development.
