Benjamin Ashong Lartey is a dynamic Monitoring, Evaluation, Research, and Learning (MERL) Specialist with expertise in data analytics, business intelligence, and financial sector resilience. He is currently engaged with CapitalPlus Exchange Corporation under the FIRST+II program, where he designs and implements data management systems, integrates consortium partner data, and develops performance-tracking dashboards to enhance management decision-making.

His experience extends to USAID’s Ghana Trade and Investment Activity, where he contributed to investment facilitation, SME pipeline development, and data-driven monitoring and evaluation processes. He previously worked at Republic Investments, a subsidiary of Republic Bank Ghana PLC, where he played a key role in investment research, portfolio analysis, and client reporting.

Benjamin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with Geography from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and is a certified Business Intelligence and Data Analyst (CFI). His expertise spans data visualization, strategic planning, and database management, enabling him to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders for impactful decision-making. With additional graphic design and photography skills, he brings a unique blend of analytical and creative capabilities to his work in financial sector development and investment analysis.
